This document describes the specifications of the C-Band ASE laser source. The laser source is widely used in optical fiber sensing and communications. ASE light source is generated by spontaneous emission from gain fiber pumped by 980nm light in an APC control mode. It offers high output power, wide spectral width. It’s small size with high stability and reliability.
